Coaching that develops the player

Our coaching starts with the individual player rather than a generic session plan.

Batting

The batting pathway develops from first contact and basic control through movement, shape, scoring range, decision-making, match awareness, adaptation and high-performance preparation.

KivaNura also uses a five-Gear batting framework to help players understand control, manipulation, penetration, boundary intent and power — while learning that the appropriate Gear depends on the ball and the cricket problem.

Fast bowling

The fast-bowling pathway is designed to develop a repeatable action, control, pace, variation, game awareness and increasingly sophisticated plans for different batters and match situations.

Off-spin

Off-spin coaching develops a dependable stock ball first, then progressively builds control, revolutions, flight, changes of pace, variation, field awareness and tactical thinking.

Leg-spin

Leg-spin coaching develops confidence in the stock leg-break, control, turn, flight and the ability to use variation intelligently rather than simply collecting different deliveries.

Coaching remains individual

Two players wearing the same badge may still need different coaching. The level describes demonstrated capability; the training plan addresses the individual player's next most useful development need.
