The academy began with a question: could cricket progression be made clearer and more meaningful for the player?

Martial arts provided an important inspiration. A belt represents a demonstrated stage of development and gives the student a visible next goal. KivaNura applies that principle to cricket through skill-specific levels and badges.

The academy is beginning with batting and bowling in Suffolk, with a long-term ambition to combine high-quality coaching with thoughtful use of technology while keeping the player and the learning journey at the centre.
