Your KivaNura journey
Every player starts from where they are — not from where their age, league or experience says they should be.
Assessment → Level Badge → Coaching → Demonstrate Capability → Level Up → Graduation → Continuous Mastery
The ten batting levels
| Level | Public progression theme |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | Discover — first contact with the skill and the beginning of the batting journey. |
| Level 2 | Organise — begin to organise movement and controlled contact. |
| Level 3 | Shape — develop balance, mobility and recognisable batting shapes. |
| Level 4 | Stabilise — make those shapes more repeatable and dependable. |
| Level 5 | Expand — build a broader conventional scoring toolkit. |
| Level 6 | Internalise — make the toolkit increasingly natural and instinctive. |
| Level 7 | Apply — use batting skills intelligently in match situations. |
| Level 8 | Adapt — solve harder problems involving pace, movement, spin, fields and pressure. |
| Level 9 | Perform — operate at a serious high-performance, Premiership/County development standard. |
| Level 10 | Master — graduate into an elite, continuous-mastery framework. |
Badges are earned
Progression is capability-led rather than attendance-led. When a player demonstrates the required standard, the next badge becomes a meaningful recognition of what they can now do.
Level 10 is graduation, not the end
There is no Level 11. Level 10 marks graduation from the numbered progression system into continuous mastery.
At that point we distinguish between:
- level achieved — the highest standard demonstrated;
- current readiness — whether the player is currently operating at that standard;
- development focus — what the player is working on next.
The learning journey continues for as long as the player plays the game.
